Our Ministry
As Envision Associates serving at the Family Empowerment Center in Rogers Park, Illinois, our family’s primary goals are focused on the multi-ethnic community represented within the church at the Family Empowerment Center (FEC). This position allows our family to teach, disciple and provide pastoral care.
Relationships are established and strengthened between us and the community as we work with the church ministries and outreach programs that are offered at FEC.
The FEC is a community center that serves the neighborhood of Rogers Park. Rogers Park is a community located 10 miles north of downtown Chicago, with an estimated representation of 120 different nationalities and with over 40 primary languages spoken. Many of the nationalities within Rogers Park are from unreached people groups, nations that have not had the access to the gospel.

Family empowerment Center
The Family Empowerment Center is a community center that serves the neighborhood of Rogers Park. Many of the nationalities within Rogers Park are from unreached people groups, nations that have not had the access to the gospel.
FEC takes on a parish focus in the community by walking alongside these local families and offering programs such as after-school programs for children, summer camps, and ESL classes for adults. At FEC, there is also a church community, composed of multi-ethnic families, that meets weekly for Bible studies and Sunday morning worship.
Envision
Envision is a ministry of the Christian and Missionary Alliance (C&MA) Envision is the Short-Term Missions Office of the C&MA. Envision's goal is to equip all who want to join God in what He is doing around the world, specifically through matching them with our Envision sites and Alliance international workers who need short-term help. God calls people from all stages of life and from many careers to partake in missions; Envision has a place for every follower of Jesus.
Envision is a new kind of mission trip. It’s not about building projects; it’s about building relationships—through service, education, medicine and culture. God wants to use you to change the world. Envision will help you get started.
